You will have 3 minutes to hitch to the sled and start your pull. If you have a problem and notify the announcer/scorer before your time is up you may drop back to pull last in that class where the three minute rule is in effect. The ability to drop back to last does not apply in a pull off situation.
  17. Test puller will be the person who draws the lowest number. Once determined that the sled is set for the class the puller must notify track official if he/she wants to take that distance pulled, come back right away to pull again immediately, come back after the next two pullers or come back last in that class. Once you decide to try another attempt, the first distance is erased and you will be put in the line up just as all other pullers. You must notify the announcer/scorer of your decision to keep your pull or when you will come back to the start of the next hitch. If the announcer/scorer is not notified, the first hitch will be the official hitch. If you forfeit your test pull before sled is set you go to the end of line.
