A tractor may be entered in only one division.
Dead
man throttle required for all classes except 14hp and 20hp tractors.
Once
a class has started to pull, there will be no more entries for that
class. NEGTP Board of Directors has the right to start a pull with
any class, according to track conditions.
All
RPM restricted classes must have a club issued sticker visibly
attached to a crank-related part (for tachometer reading).

1,050lb and 1,250lb 20hp GARDEN TRACTORS
Factory appearing tin work, frame and engine with no visible performance alterations
Hitch must be ho higher than 13” of the ground and rigid in all directions.
Gasoline or diesel engines only 16-20hp. Must be O.E.M. Tires must be turf or agricultural. No cut tires or professional pulling tires. Tire size must be no larger than 23 x 10.50 x 12.
Tractors may not override the governor, 4000 RPM maximum.
1,050lb 25hp MODIFIED GARDEN TRACTORS
Stock appearing garden tractors may have reinforced drive line, must be safe.
Engine up to 25 hp before modifications
Naturally aspirated carburetion only, 1.2 venturi, must run on gas type fuel.
Stock head castings, restraint required.
Maximum tire size is 26 x 12 x 12, may be cut
No welded jugs.
Hitch must be no higher that 13” off the ground and rigid in all directions.
1,050lb SUPER STOCK TRACTORS
Single cylinder, air-cooled, four cycle, flathead, 2 valves (must be on same side).
Displacement maximum of 50.5 cubic inches.
Any type of naturally aspirated induction is permitted.
Sleeves and welding permitted.
Gasoline or alcohol fuel only, no pressurized fuel tanks, no Nitrous Oxide.
Auxiliary fuel pumps permissible.
Billet steel or aluminum flywheel and/or starter pulley required.
Stock block engines bored .040“ and over manufacturer’s standard specification require a cylinder head restraint from ¼ “ steel or 3/8” aluminum or equivalent material. Restraint not required on after market ductile iron or fabricated billet blocks and jugs.
Clutch and open drive train components must be covered 360 degrees with 1/8” steel or equivalent material.
Must have scatter shield opposite the camshaft side of the motor from 1/16" or .090” aluminum, from bottom of engine to 4½” above center line of crankshaft and 7” width attached to chassis at bottom and under hood at top in a secure manner.
Maximum tire size 26 x 12 x 12.
Maximum wheel base 56”, any garden tractor chassis having a stock wheelbase of 56” or longer must retain the stock wheelbase for that model tractor
Maximum distance from center or rear axle to farthest point forward to be 96”
Chassis and transaxle must be from an O.E.M. produced garden tractor. Lengthening of stock chassis allowed, provided that frame remains stock appearing and the same material type, size and dimensions as stock are used.
Tractor must have a stock appearing hood and grill (nose piece). Switching to another factory sheet metal is permissible.
Maximum width of tractor is 72”
Hitch
height not more that 13” and stationary in all directions.
All
tractors are required to have a switch (with a 1” ring) that will
kill engine and fuel pump located on back of tractor within 6” of
center. All
tractors must be equipped with a dry chemical fire extinguisher or
equivalent Fire
suit and helmet are mandatory. Class
to pull twice at 1,050lb for ribbons/trophies at scheduled events.
1,250lb and 1,450lb OUTLAW MODIFIED TRACTORS
No more than 6 foot long from center of the rear axle to the furthest part forward including weights.
No more than 54” in width to outside of tires.
Hitch must be no higher than 13” off the ground and rigid in all directions.
Maximum tire size is 26 x 12 x 12, may be cut.
No automotive engines.
4 cylinder maximum.
Must have rear fenders, hood and grill
Must be naturally aspirated and run on gasoline type fuels (no Alcohol).
1,250lb and 1,400lb RV MODIFIED TRACTORS
Tractors will be no more than 116” long from rear axle center to front most part of weights or bracket and no more than 71” wide outside of tires.
Single engine up to 4 cylinders and 1,500 cc motorcycle and snowmobile engines only. NO AUTOMOTIVE TYPE ENGINES.
Maximum rear tire size 31 x 15.50 x 15
Mufflers are required on 2 cycle tractors.
Must be naturally aspirated and run on gasoline type fuels (no Alcohol).
Hitch must be no higher than 13” off the ground and rigid in all directions.
1,400lb and 1,500lb SUPER MODIFIED TRACTORS
Maximum number of four cylinders, any combination reciprocating engines.
Maximum rear tire 31 x 15.50 x 15,
Maximum of 2337 cc.
Hitch must be maximum of 13” high, rigid in all directions.
Maximum tractor length of 8 feet from center of rear axle to the furthest point forward of tractor.
Automotive in line engines must have national specification side shield, and drive line shields.
Rear bumper pads 8” – 14” high, 3” behind rear tires minimum
All turbo’s will have a .060” thick steel shield around them and their exhaust pipe will discharge vertically with cross bolts in end.
All Super Modified drivers will wear a SFI approved single layer fire suit, full face helmet and protective footwear.
May run with alcohol containing no additives.
CAUSES FOR DISQUALIFICATION AND
Driver must remain seated when tractor is in motion with one hand on the steering mechanism.
If tractor tire touches the boundary line while hooked to the sled, the driver will be disqualified for that hitch.
Any loss of weight or tractor parts, while hooked to sled, is grounds for disqualification for that hitch.
Leaving the starting line under the red.
Unsafe operation of competition vehicle at any time.
Un-sportsmanlike conduct.
All tractors must remain in the ring until their class has ended.
